Meet your Instructor, Mandy Cochran.

Mandy is a stained glass artist who calls Edmonton, Alberta, Canada her home. Her interest in stained glass was sparked some 20 years ago by a good friend who introduced her to the craft. It was an instant creative connection that resonated with her childhood fascination for textured & colored glass and how light quietly filters it's way through it.

Mandy's life long passion for the craft has resulted in her having taught stained glass classes in 'lead came' for 5 years.

She is inspired by nature and the old architecture that is preserved in and around the St. Louis area.

Mandy's many years of participation in the public workforce caused a desire to shift her life experience to benefit the creative outlet of the stained glass art form. This transformation resulted in the creation of the St. Louis Art Glass Company, a venue for inspiration!

A re-connection to Mandy's Metis Indigenous heritage has sparked a rejuvenated interest in the Native Canadian art of her ancestors. She hopes to translate that into new designs reflecting her family's symbols & history in stained glass form.
