Beginner Stained Glass Class - Saturdays

Learn all the basic skills needed to create your own copper foil stained glass piece.

Classes are small, limited to 6 students per class, and individual attention is emphasized.

We'll cover:

• Pattern making
• Glass cutting and grinding
• Copper foil techniques
• Soldering skills
• Finishing steps including patina, custom hanging loops and chains.

Materials:

All Materials and use of tools are included in the class price.

Duration:
Classes once a week for 4 weeks.

Physical Requirements:

Students must be able to navigate stairs to the lower level, as the elevators are not always available.

Although there can be some sitting during the course, often there will be long periods of standing in order to complete certain tasks. This type of class is not appropriate for people with back, neck or shoulder problems, carpal tunnel syndrome in hands / arms or who cannot stand for periods at a time. Stained glass classes are not suggested for pregnant women.
